THE FOUR LANES THAT WILL TAKE US THERE
And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers...Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.
So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.
We are excited about the journey we are on with Christ, and we would be thrilled if you would come travel with us. Where are we going? Glad you asked. We want you to know where this church is going in the future. We are on a journey of growing in spiritual maturity and going on mission with God.
The vision we see out there in front of us can be reached by traveling four lanes all headed in the same direction. First Baptist Church of Columbus exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ of all the nations through grace.
That is the destination....
We would love to talk to you about either of these decisions!
How do I Join the Church?
By public profession of faith in baptism.
By transfer of letter from another Baptist Church
By statement that you have been a member of a church that receives members by profession of faith and New Testament baptism
How do I make a profession of faith?
Admit to God you are a sinner.
Believe that Jesus Christ died, and arose again for your sins.
Confess your belief to God and fellow believers.
